Cooking a Fresh Crab
I remember this freshly caught crab when my mom bought it from her fish selling “suki” who used to sell sea foods like these. My mom is such a lover of sea foods and one of her favorite is the crab. It’s meat is rich, savory and so delicious that’s why she enjoys eating it.
There are variety of tasty preparations in cooking it and that includes salads, sandwiches, crab cakes and seafood stews. Preferably, the crab should be cooked live, so it must be cleaned after it comes out of the boiler or steamer.
Steamed crab is one of the most basic preparations, along with boiled crab. Steaming is a great way to allow the delicate flavor of the crab. You can steam crabs in white wine for a unique and tasty flavor.
