A week ago, we treated our young church leaders to dine in at Mang Inasal barbeque fast food chain. It was a call for a double celebration since one of our leaders celebrated her birthday and we also celebrated the success of our Encounter retreat. We all enjoyed our bonding time as we shared the happiness together.

We could see the happiness of their faces specially when the delicious Filipino favorite foods from Mang Inasal was being served. We ordered the Paborito Meal 1 “Paa” and Paborito Meal 2 “Pecho” for only P99 pesos with unlimited rice. For desserts and drinks, we ordered Halo-halo, turon split and soft drinks. Yummyness overload all the way and we are all happy, full, and satisfied!

Every time we have our blogger’s eyeball and meet ups, we prefer to choose to dine at an eat all you can restaurant. For about $6, we can eat all this yummy and delicious foods such as fried chicken, ceviche, crispy pata, pork belly, barbecue, pancit bihon, fish fillet and sweet dessert such as fruit salad, tapioca, maja blanca and so much more. Most of these foods are served during lunch and dinner. Eat all you can restaurants particularly in Lighthouse and Peking House restaurant in Gaisano Mall also offers snacks which costs around $3.

I suggest that you must have an empty stomach, in other words you are hungry when you dine in at an eat all you can restaurant so you can eat a lot when you get there. Its all worth the price when you eat more than what you pay for, right? If its too full, just relax for awhile, have some chit chat or release it to the comfort room and then go back again to the buffet table. 

If you are on a budget but still want to eat more than a plateful, going to restaurants that offers an eat-all-you-can buffets would surely be a practical and sound choice. Many restaurants here in the city of  Cagayan de Oro offers this kind of enticement especially on midweek lunches and dinners. For the most part, these kinds of buffet meals are practical especially during these hard times.

One of our favorite eat-all-you can restaurant is the Lighthouse which is located at the 4th floor of Gaisano Mall that serves all our favorite Filipino viands at less than 300 pesos per person.  However, there should be no left over to enjoy the eat-all-you-can price tag. The Leftover Price is P150 per head, so better make sure you can eat everything you get from the buffet spread.You can get a complete meal from the entrée, appetizer to full meals and dessert just by paying the fixed charge. It’s really a  great value for your money and this is definitely a good place for carnivores to feast in.
