MY CAKE NOSTALGIA
I so love this meme, I can drag it which blog my story fits … since my story for today’s Nostalgia is food related I’m having it here, this blog needs some lovin’.
Anyway, I was once a prolific cake enthusiast. Naks… But true, really I used to bake, I used to make birthday cakes, wedding cakes, but not for commercial purposes just for family’s important affairs. I cannot remember anymore how many times I tried, flopped and failed, how many eggs I wasted after I perfected my pound, chiffon and all of those cakes. It just make me nostalgic seeing these photos, at least I had a souvenir that once in my baking career, waaaaaahhhh, I had showcased my labor.
I don’t do one anymore, my friends around often asked me to make one, but you better order in Goldilocks, Red Ribbon or which cake shop you wished your cake made, it’s way cheaper and it saves me Alaxan for back pain, LOL!
Now unless paid with a sizable amount, then I will make one, nyahahaha!

wow, Vernz, you have a talent!:p your parents' anniversary is so pretty, galing mo! i also had the "baking phase" as my family would call it. i took a summer class in baking eons ago at don nagsimula. unfortunately, di yon ang calling ko.:D i tried to perfect a chocolate cake pero laging "sapatos"…yon ang tawag ng mga Ilonggo sa matigas na cake kasi parawang swelas daw ng sapatos (LOL). sympre, laging nilalait ang mga cake ko pero ubos pa rin!
My mom used to bake also vernz but i never get that talent though. Ganda nman ng mga cake na gawa mo Vernz, pwedi pa deliver dito for Justine's birthday next week hehehe. Kung magkalapit lang tayo umorder na ako sayo.
