Overcrowded Bus

My family and I visited our hometown last month to witness the Kaamulan Festival in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. When we went back home to our city in Cagayan de Oro, we woke up so early at around 3am so we could catch up the 1st trip of the bus. But to our surprise, there were so many passengers who are already waiting for the bus. Some even slept at the terminal.

You can mostly see those overloaded bus, tricycles and even jeepneys where  people literally on top of the roof at villages and remote provinces where those local transports are few.

But in the city and its neighboring town, it is prohibited. The driver for sure will be caught for overloading and will be fined.

We ain’t got a bullet train, but we have these local and very unique means of transportation  like having this overcrowded bus were  you can find it only here in the Philippines.

  1. This is what I love about Cagayan de Oro! Overcrowded Bus really take you to a challenge! :D Well, I mean, this is very local and native for us, so common. For those who haven’t experienced this, they may think it’s very irritating. But for those who did, I think it just tests our patience and care for every passengers. Weird but Cool!
