Yummy Croissants

Who wouldn’t want this yummy croissants for breakfast? I’m sure you all do. You can also enjoy eating it during your snack time. This croissant is a light, flaky, buttery pastry formed into crescent shapes. Croissants are popular within Europe and outside Europe and are usually eaten with coffee. This croissants from the photo above was actually taken by my mom when she enjoyed eating it as her breakfast one morning.

Croissants are sometimes filled with sweet ingredients like fruits or custard and they are even used like bread to make sandwiches. These buttery, flakey treats take a very long time to do from scratch and will require patience, hours and skill with pastry-making but once you’ve tried handmade croissants, you’ll never want the ready-made ones again.

Animal Shaped Bread

Ive seen several bakeshops here in our place that sells animal shaped bread. I love looking at it specially when it is being displayed at the bakery store. It looks so cute and I even don’t want to eat it. My daughter already saw this kind of bread but she’s actually scared of it. She thought that this turtle and crocodile shaped bread will bite her. hahaha!

If only I have enough time to learn how to bake, it would be fun and interesting because with just a few simple techniques, both children and adults like us can create a variety of animals with baked goods. It brings out our imagination in the kitchen specially for our kids who loves to bake and can creatively shape the dough into their favorite animals. It’s such a fun and edible treat right?
